~Design × Code~

I started in code before I started in Figma. That wiring never left, I think in components and constraints, and I get twitchy when strong design dies somewhere between the mockup and the merge. So I put real energy into the layer most designers skip - the tools and workflows that decide whether good work actually ships.

When something new shows up, Cursor, AI copilots, I don't wait for a mandate. I pressure-test it on my own work first, and if it earns its place, I bring the team along. My job isn't just to make the screens, it's to raise the ceiling on what the whole team can make.

Design-to-code initiative at Rapido

It started as a Cursor workshop I hosted for the design team and ended up as an initiative that ended the "too complex to build" pushback. The same objection kept killing good designs at Rapido "too complex," "not possible to build."

So I started an initiative that used my coding background to answer it directly: instead of a static redline, we handed devs a 1-sprint, single-page design as a working coded blueprint a real reference they could build straight from. It reframed the conversation from "can we build this?" to "here's how it's built" cutting feasibility pushback, shrinking handoff round-trips, and giving devs a head start on the build.
